			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve decided to write a simple (yeah, right) WordPress plugin as a warmup for the heavy lifting to come. (Also because I&#8217;ve never written a WordPress plugin before.)</p>
<p>It&#8217;s aimed at people who run small accommodation services like bed &amp; breakfasts. The idea is that it will let them set up a number of accommodation “resources”, each with their price/capacity/facilities/etc, and that each of these can be booked via an interface to Google Calendar.</p>
<p>If it goes well I might look at integrating PayPal for deposit payments and so forth, but for the time being I want to focus on making the availability &amp; booking part as slick as possible.</p>
